Christian Fuchs
is a director and puppeteer. He was born in Düsseldorf in 1972 and studied Music Theater Directing as a scholarship holder of the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes in Hamburg. Since 2003 he has been working as a freelance director in opera and puppet theater, among others in Würzburg, Halle, Erfurt and Leipzig. He was dramaturge at the Theater Waidspeicher Erfurt, head of the Young Theater at the Theater Nordhausen and project manager at the Theater der Jungen Welt Leipzig. Since August 2019 he has been working as a freelance director and puppeteer and is living with his family in Leipzig.
